In order to facilitate the billing process:
- When you have an appointment at our office, always have your current insurance card with you.
- Co-pays can not be billed. Your personal co-pay must be paid at the time of service. Failure to pay this co-pay at the time of service will result in a service fee.
- Always retain your receipts and records from medical service provided as they may be needed if any claim is ever denied.
- If a new member is added to your family, call your employer and have them add your newborn to your insurance policy. This must be done within 30 days after birth.
- Some insurance companies may limit the kind of services that we may provide. Please advise us of any special restrictions with regards to laboratory benefits or any other office procedures when you arrive for your scheduled appointment.
- If a claim is rejected, you must call your insurance company directly. We do not dispute claims and benefits with your insurance carrier.
